A visit to Phnom Penh in Cambodia

The most unforgettable thing about Phnom Penh in Cambodia is the hot weather. We visited Phnom Penh in one of the coolest months in Cambodia, yet it was still hot. The heat practically burned us alive. We did not feel the sweat because it was so hot that the sweat evaporated immediately. Once I had ran out of drinking water for an hour in Phnom Penh. After I purchased a few bottles of chilled mineral water, I drank 2 bottles right away. That was about a liter of water. I still did not feel hydrated. The only cool place in Phnom Penh in Cambodia was the casino. Even though we did not gamble, we still found it hard to leave such a cool and nice place. There are several markets in Phnom Penh worth visiting, but these places are really hot. The price of the goods and the friendly sellers made up for the discomfit.

It is very hot in Cambodia, that is true. I am from northern Europe, our weather is cold and I generally like to visit countries with a hot climate, but the weather in Cambodia is so hot that it is uncomfortable. We visited Siam Reap and Phnom Penh. You mentioned the markets in Phnom Penh. Did you visit the Russian market? We were there, and we bought presents for our relatives and friends, but we didn't see the entire market.

Cambodia is hot, but it is a kind of dry heat. SIngapore is hot and humid, so i guess I still like the heat in Cambodia. I just hope that the standard of living increases, so that we can get more soda there. It makes a lot of difference to drink ice-cold soda in hot weather.

I am not prepared for the kind of heat there. I think I will not go there for holiday again, unless I take a cruise, and the ship dock there for a day.

@scheng1 Sometime you need a coat for whole day too. But raining season is not good for traveling lol. Can't compare with your area.
