I was having dinner with a colleague just now, and we got to talk about different people and their destiny in life.
My colleague was talking about a friend of his who was rather unlucky in his youth.
This person was holding a managerial post with very low salary. People looked down on him. He quit the job, and travelled to China to work for a few years.
After he returned from China, he managed to land a good job with an international company. He went back to China holding a director post.
His salary was five times more than what he previously held in his country.
He was rather unlucky in his job in his own country, but once he ventured out of the country, his luck changed.
Talking about destiny of others really makes us think about how luck can change all of a sudden.

My mother and I have been working to change the destiny of our town since last year. We've been working to save our glass block factory in town and it was let go by the companies that had used it as a scapegoat and bankrupted it (since it's a small town, and they could use it as a sacrifice to save the factories in the cities guilty of the same thing). It was going to close and be done for, but then our project got it recognition and it's become more popular. Instead of closing it went up for sale, and I just heard tonight that someone bought it and plans to keep it producing. This is huge news for us, and especially the area. Most people know that we helped a lot, and probably saved it.

@scheng1 Oddly enough the new owner is a company my mother worked for when she moved up to the area.

in that case i think your friend's friend was really brave
he suffered a lot and he wanted to change. he decided to find a better life and he did it. thats why i think that if we fight for things everything is possible. we have to always fight for the best and do everything we can to be happy. we need to take risks but in the end is always worth it. take that story as an advise for you. fight to have a better life everyday. im doing the same working hard everyday.

For some people if they can travel they do so looking for jobs. Alot of people look online but don't find anything. You have to go out experience before you can find the right job for you. I volunteered for so many years before finding the job that suits me.

Bad luck or good luck never last long.
Sooner or later we will have good time, but we have to remember that good time will end, and bad time will be here.
That is why we should help others who have fallen on bad time, so that we will have friends when we have fallen on bad times.
