Nutcrackers on my mind / myLot

I have always had a thing about Nutcrackers. I love them all, big ones, little ones, ones that look like soldiers and ones who look like animals. I have a thing for Nutcrackers. At Christmas time you typically find nutcrackers of all types scattered around my house. I have loved them since I was a little girl. I often wonder if this could be because of the ballet "The Nutcracker". One year when I was a girl I received tickets to "The Nutcracker" ballet in New York from an aunt for Christmas. I was spellbound from beginning to end. It was the best gift I ever received. I think that and the nutcracker ornament that she gave me that year was the event that started my love affair with nutcrackers. What is the best gift you ever received at Christmas/

My mother and father collected them. They had hundreds of them. I wonder, what happened to all of them. Both my parents are gone and they just disappeared.
