Spot The Spam

Sometimes you get an unsolicited e-mail that leaves you wondering whether it is spam or not. Having a Paypal or E-Bay account messages seeming to come from them leave you wondering if the message is real or not, but a message like I got this afternoon with the subject line declaring proudly “Important notice – Chinese Traffic monetization!” it becomes rather obvious to someone in Manchester, England that this is bogus – suffice to say the message was cast into oblivion unopened. I wish these spam-clowns would stop wasting my time. Arthur Chappell

oh I'm sure it is automated - can't see anyone reading every website and blog looking for targets - if they did they would know how pointless it would be sending me their junk

@Jessicalynnt I expect most of us could - I'd be quite convincing and plausible if I did.

It doubt that will ever happen. We need to just ignore them. Don't you have a spam file? I have gotten some supremely idiotic spam letters. One was particularly humorous in that it was supposedly from the FBI. The language of the letter made it obvious that it was not. I don't know what these people think. That we are totally dumb as rocks and will go for their idiocy. It is beyond me. I find them humorous now days.

@arthurchappell ...That's good. I always check through my spam file anyway. I've had a few important things slip by.
