While making the bed this morning, I noticed that my hubby's pillows were more than over the half way of our Queen sized bed - in my territory. Yes IN MY TERRITORY !! That made me realize, this is probably the reason I am feeling like I am holding on for dear life at night - clutching the edge of my sheets of fear of falling off. He probably has been SPREADING himself out in this horrid heat and is clearly oblivious to the encroachment of my side!! Tonight I shall draw the line!! Have you ever experienced this? sending you some Belgium Heather to cheer you all up this Thursday!

I experience this all the time Lany, in summer hubby spreads himself out invading my half bed, in winter he "steals" the duvet.

@Inlemay I am going to put two separate covers, but I am sure he will find a way to steal mine.

This is a regular phenomena. It goes like this. Me a quarter of the bed and Mrs Windmill gets three quarters!

So, you are thinking of building a fence to protect your territory from trespassers.

we want a bigger bed, the dogs find their way to the middle and then hog it

@Inlemay I am sure that will just give them more room to hog, but hey, one can hope

We had a normal double bed for years but in hot weather the queen does give you both a bit more room to spread out. And hang on to those sheets!

ha ha - the double bed would make us Lie in each others Arms - Oh no, Im over all that from the young days. I am considering getting a KING size with extra length if he keeps steeling across to my side!

@Inlemay We often say when we sleep in a king-size bed in a hotel or somewhere that we have to run around to find each other.
