Fly Tipping

Fly tippers {people who dump rubbish in the countryside or down a back alley} I cannot understand why this is happening we have a local tip that is free to use and takes everything from old beds to a normal waste. There is a free dustcart that travels around the local villages on a regular basis for any rubbish or article you want to get rid of. All this is on top the normal rubbish collections from homes and businesses. Still there are people who spend a fortune on petrol to travel to the depths of the countryside and tip rubbish into farmer’s fields or on the road side normally in the middle of the night. These people could take their old computers, electrical, garden waste and general rubbish to the council tip and not rubbish the countryside or risk a heavy fine / imprisonment.

We have a few of them on our lane as well.. The city collects garbage and recyclable waste twice a week and yet they do it.. I guess they love littered street and country sides.

These people are just thick. All the rubbish collections and they don't use it.

My Mom always told us when we hiked: You packed it in, you pack it out. I love your speech- tippers and flats and villages. I'd just say dumpster and garbage can. I love yours.

It all means the same thing in the end. Us English do use different words.
