Sweetness. Four foot of sweet Noble Fir. Cutie Patootie.
Mom and I stopped at Home Depot cause it was close to her church and its musical project. I've been getting itchier for Yule Greens.
The folks in the musical had a rousing time entertaining us pew sitters. Then on to the cookie line. (We'd brought a dozen of our old timey sugar cookies.)
I strung a single strand of round multi colored lights on the petite fir tree and dug out the set of glittery bamboo stars that I bought years ago. Light and fanciful and perfect for the combo of a small tree and a trio of cats. The little starched and crocheted angel given to me by a crotchety client years ago sat on the tip top of the tree. Mom did not need urging. She happily dug into the business of choosing ornaments and choosing little branches to dangle them from. I found some teeny little shiny balls, too.
Hubby had been busy at making pizza while we were at church. All is good today for sure. And Yule bright.

@winterose The poo has hit the fan over here. My Mom wants her freedom and that means she wants to live elsewhere. My husband and I are determined to have Christmas and our anniversary happy or die trying.
