Admin Cleaned Out The No Response Section

I love to browse the no response section of the site to see what interesting topics have been overlooked. Last time I was in there I saw a lot of posts in this section of the site. I noticed not just one person, but several who had a large number of posts nobody responded to. Today when I checked this section I noticed it had been cleaned out. How often does the site Admin visit this section of the site and clean out these discussions that sit there? If topics sit in this section for long periods of time does the Admin go in and delete these discussions? I think it is wonderful that the Admin of this site cares enough to take care of posts that sit dormant for weeks on end with nobody responding to them. This shows that the site has an excellent team of Admin behind us. They care about the site and how it runs. Furthermore, I feel like it shows they are worried about their site ratings in Google and cleaning out posts that nobody comments on is one way of doing this. It improves the sites ratings and makes the site run so smooth. Keep up the good work Admin it is appreciated by the members here on this site. Personal image souce

Is it possible that the users got deleted? Or that someone went through and commented on their posts? I'm not sure that an admin clean up is the most obvious interpretation.

My same thoughts, I have seen many accounts deleted, so all their posts have been deleted too.

Just sort of looks like a lot of this has been cleaned up. I saw a lot of stuff from time to time all of a sudden disappear from this area. When looking for them they are gone. So maybe they are deleted or purged from the site.

It may be that someone who had submitted a large number of these discussions had been deleted for some reason, thus eradicating all their posts.

@poehere It may be that someone commented on them or possibly that Admin has a maximum time frame for them to be there.

Yes deletion on some would make this possible if the account was deleted. but what about some of the other ones who have been there and nobody at all will answer. I saw them there for a long time and all of a sudden when one account was deleted then I saw a lot of them gone too. I don't see where a person answered them.

@Asylum Well if someone commented on all of them that would of been amazing to see.

I don't go to those discussions . The most that i would open is the Recent Discussion . But i must admit the Admin here seems so efficient in doing what they have to do .

I like them from time to time because I have found some good stuff on there from a few new people who just arrived. I liked their discussion and commented on them and they answered me back.

@poehere That's a nice thing because they now have at least one response on their posts .

@SIMPLYD This is funny and this is so sweet too. Wonder if getting 1 response will trigger more. I did notice a few of them I did respond too had gotten a few other responses after mine. Wonder if responding to this post triggered others to read it and respond too?

Maybe it has been cleaned up or some tech issue.

Sort of looks like it will recycle here and there or maybe a few people just deleted all the stuff nobody was answering on.

I think the section is cleaned out every 24 hours, it is also possible that they disappeared because someone left a comment.

The ones I saw in there had been there for sometime and nobody has responded to them at all. One I answered seemed to be in there for about 4 days or so.

@poehere I suppose it also depends if the users accounts have been deleted. When this happens all their posts disappear and I have seen several accounts deleted yesterday.

I responded on one of those posts a few days ago that was over five years old, @poehere ! I seriously doubt Admin cleared anything out if posts are allowed to sit in there for years! There would be no reason to clear them out. It is possible someone else did like I did and responded to several of those, removing them from the No Response section. IDK, otherwise.

@poehere Would you like me to go to that post and tag you, Ann? It wouldn't bother me in the least.

Really. I am missing something now. 5 years. Are you sure it was that long it sat there. That one seems a little strange to me to allow this one to happen. I have seen them up to 15 days but not much older than this.

I visit 'no response' section, when I've finished checking discussions under 'interesting discussions' category and friends's discussions under the caption 'People'. If I do not find anything interesting to respond, then only I would visit 'no response' category. Sometimes I've found that discussions which have started just few minutes ago are categorized in 'no response' section.

@poehere - If no one has responded to a discussion say for 5-6 hours, then there is something wrong with the contents of that discussion (means no one found it interesting).

@dpk262006 That is a good point. I think too it can be easily buried in all of the new discussion too. A lot of people go to top or hot to find the ones everyone is responding to right now.

All new discussions are put in there. But ones who never get answered stay in there.

I have been away from mylot of late. As such I am still to have a look at the different sections. When I had last been there, there werent too many discussions. However a few kept repeating after a while of scrolling. In case that issue is no fixed, it is really good. As for the Admin, of course, the GAA and now (also) the Bugs have always been excellent. I had been told on earlier interactions that the Team is not the decision making Authority but I have seen them do great things for all of the MyLot Community in the past. And now that we have the same team back in action, I am sure things would get sorted out sooner.

This sounds wonderful. I don't see a lot of bugs on this site. Just now and then the bank locks and won't move for hours on end. But lately this one hasn't happened at all.

I think I read somewhere once that posts older than 7 days are automatically purged from the "No Responses" list, similar to anything older than a week in your own Notifications list. Or maybe it was 14 days, but it is automatic, not manual.

I sometimes visit the no response section but it doesn't often inspire me. I'm glad it's been cleaned out.

I found some interesting stuff in there last night and now. I find at least 4 or 5 posts in there that I feel are great topics and I can relate to them. But some people don't answer back when you comment on them. This one is sad and I feel that is why a lot of there stuff ends up in there a lot of times. Only if they would take the time to respond back and interact a little more they wouldn't end up in there so much of the time.
