My Last Shot

Today I received my last antibiotic shot. Yeah! They told me this morning that they were "Retiring me from the pincushion club". What welcome news that was. It's not that I don't like the doctor, it's just that I am not fond of being stuck with a needle. That's kind of funny coming from someone who has to test her sugar level twice a day. Anyway, I didn't get a clean bill of health but I am well on the road to recovery. I hope everyone out there is healthy, happy, and enjoying the season.

I had a friend who had to get herself injected for the same reason. She just hated it. She was diabetic beyond repair (lol)

@allknowing I am sorry for your friend. Right now, fortunately I only have to test my blood twice a day. Hopefully I don't graduate to insulin shots.

That is interesting. I have never had antibiotics by a needle. I would get pills for them.

You can get them in pill form, in a shot and even intravenously.

@Hatley that's a good way of looking. I don't seem to mind the little poke for a blood test as much either.
