Do we hike in the rain today?

My friend and I were planning a hike today. But it was raining here much of yesterday and last night. So the trails will be muck. It looks like it might rain some more. Should we hike anyway? I'm thinking it might be a good compromise to head out on the Inspiration Point trail, which is atop a ridge, and also mostly paved. Would take a hike in the rain? The photo I'll use is from Black Diamond Mines, right before it started hailing.

Glad the rain has left my neck of the woods at long last...that was one long,grey hike...I always loved walking in the rain...provided I had nowhere important to go at the end of it, looking like a bedraggled rag doll.

We'll have some good hiking days even in the Winter, but right after a rain, the trails can be pretty mucky.

I don't like getting caught in a total downpour (it's happened), but a little rain doesn't bother me.

I like the idea of a short hike.Maybe this will get it out of your system.But yes and do be careful. You could slip and injure yourself.We do not want this.Let us know if you venture out there.

We took one little side trail, but mostly we were on the main trail, which is actually also a fire road. No injuries!
