My boyfriend ordered me the star of David, for Christmas I always wanted one of them. He also bought me a book from the Synagogue. I just ordered him pajamas and slippers.

@DWDavis I have an interest in all religions, Judaism is the religion that Christianity developed from.

@winterose I see. It seems you do have an interest in learning about his faith. Judaism has a fascinating, if often tortured, history.

Glad that you both got what you wanted. My hubby just got done with his Old Testament religion class. His professor was a bit scatterbrained though and instead of focusing on the topic at hand he would jump to other subjects. This was really confusing for the note taking. We did get to see some interesting films that the teacher let hubby bring home. I think my favorite was the movie concerning Esther. Slippers and pj's are great gifts. I saw a Pin on Pinterest where the entire family got new pj's, and slippers boxed with popcorn and cocoa on Christmas Eve and the family would all dress in their pj's and watch a movie while eating popcorn and drinking cocoa. I want to start that tradition next year with the kids.

It is the story of a brother and sister who were extremely close and the brother ended up with schizophrenia. I am a therapist and also my X husband was schizophrenic.
