Fifteen hours?

my big brother's arm driving his car!

That is the night trip of my big brother; he left the capital city at 9:15PM, and with the traffic along the mountainous roads, the bus company informed us that the trip might take 15 hours to reach our city. I bet all behinds will form calluses even though they put some doughnuts as support. Or their legs will have cramps especially if they cannot stretch their legs because of many baggage. I just messaged my brother on FB through Wi-Fi connection. All buses here boast of having Wi-Fi on board and a television unit mounted up for better viewing of the passengers. So, if my brother left the city at 9:15, probably he will be here at 12 noon tomorrow, God willing! Have you tried traveling on a bus in fifteen hours non-stop except for bladder breaks?

@ridingbet . . I am thinking about that 15-hour trip of your brother! I am sure you and your family live either in Ilocos Norte or Ilocos Sur . . or even Abra, kabsat! No wonder why you can relate with my Ilocano jokes!

Here , the aircon bus trip to Manila is from 11- 12 hours . The bus leaves at about 6:00 p.m. and will arrive Manila by 5 or 6 am. If you are good at sleeping on a reclined lazy boy , you will have a long sleep and by the time you wake up , you are already in Manila.

I sleep like the boa, but I am also a light sleeper. So, when we pass by the zigzag Santa Fe road, I always wake up and look at the lights down the mountains.

I did that once when I was in college. It wasn't too bad, because the bus did stop often enough for bathroom breaks and quick meals.

Normally, long distance buses will give stops to release your bladder. My journey by a bus never extended beyond 10 hours though.

oh, that is more difficult because you drive your own car. my brother rode on a bus. my kid brother sometimes drives too, going to the capital city, but he takes a break when he is sleepy.

Not 15 but 12 hours. Just got home last night. I should have travelled last 22nd but the bus terminal where I went had a lot of passengers waiting for their buses. I left the terminal at around 7 in the evening knowing I couldn't wait any longer because their next trip will be at 11 in the evening and we were unsure when the next trip will be because they said they have no buses at that time and still waiting for those that will arrive. The next morning I took another bus going to Baguio, that meant I had to unboard in Pangasinan because it will not pass by my hometown. Then I had to board another bus.
