I heard a couple really nice ideas for families to do. Let me explain.
One idea involved being thankful for your blessings. One family explained that they played "the thankful game" at dinner time. While they ate, each person takes their turn explaining something that they are thankful for. They said that it helps them to appreciate their family members and not take things for granted.
The other idea involved what they call a "memorial box" where family members put small items that remind them of important events. One item that was mentioned was a child's hospital bracelet from a trip to the hospital. These reminders are tagged with a date and note so that the family can count their blessings.
Both ideas are worth considering, don't you think?

Oh that's a nice thing to do. Baby books are always nice, if you keep them up to date. Sounds like you did it. Good for you.
