We Need A Storm!

The new caster just said this. We have had an inversion for several days now. What happens is that a cold low swirls into the area in one direction and a warm one comes in at the same time. Moisture(and cold) is being trapped down( in an inversion state) and we need a storm to come in and move this inversion out. The inversion traps the moisture down. It causes the area to be cold, grey(teens to low 20's) and it stinks. It is a blockage of the cold. If you go up further into the atmosphere there is warmer air and a nice blue sky. We get these all the time here and with the weather so mild this time of year they stick around along time until a weather change that will blow the inversion out of here. So, we need a storm! Do we have any storm dancers?

You've never experienced an inversion then. It holds everything down. Stink, cold, etc.

@celticeagle I lived in eastern oregon for awhile, but I dont know where all these are at. I suppose I could have, but it just didnt occur to me the weather was to blame
