While we were in Vienna our friend Claudia took us to Tulln Gardens. It is a bit like the Chelsea Flower Show but all the exhibits are permanent. There is a tree walk which gives wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. Some of the exhibits are very creative.
Artworks are dotted about the place and there are many child-friendly areas as well as a café and retail outlet. All these places are designed so you have to go through the shop before exiting the area. Very clever strategy. Vince was also able to get a photo of a bumble-bee.

It seems to me that every single tourist attraction I go to requires you to go through a gift shop before you leave! They are pretty tricky, aren't they? I love your pictures. Now I want to go to Vienna!

Sounds wonderful. I have been to the Chicago Botanical Gardens and it's amazing.

@JudyEv Yes they do and at one point I did try to create a magnificent rose garden. It is now gone but I did love it for years.

@BelleStarr My friend has over 300 roses on parts of her 5 acre block. I just enjoy hers.

@JudyEv That makes good sense. I was traveling with students years ago. Now, if I went, I would look online, where there is far more information than there used to be.

@ElizabethWallace It's a shame that when you get back all this information seems to come in about places you missed, from friends or other sources. We found it a bit hard to research areas before we got there especially in outerlying areas.

The boots were cement and you just stood in behind them. They are cute though aren't they?
