Why Hug Goodbye Philippines?!

Hello Lotters,
First off, I wanted to greet you Happy New Year and apologies for not checking your post lately. With my grandma around it's been really hard to stick around here and have a full time interacting with you guys, but i don't want to disappear like that one time back in august 2015, where i was 2 months inactive.
This is one crazy story, it was possible that he was drunk and not acting rationally. I mean talk about stupid, he did say good bye though, at least he was polite enough. Not sure if he's going to wake up with a hang over in the after life. We don't even have fire crackers here anymore because of my mom's asthma.
I feel sad for this live-in partner, holding it is really bad but HUGGING it
. maybe he was giving the huge firecracker a goodbye hug. by the way, the written tittle is the name of the fire cracker that killed him.
I guess he thought it was a pillow or something.

A man died early Friday after hugging a firecracker called "Goodbye Philippines" in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

He was drunk , as the news said . I think , you can only do that when you are not yourself .

Really stupid, I don't know if our foreign friends have seen one of these I'm including a link). Well it was raining quite hard in our place when new year arrived so it was a mixture of rain and smoke that looks like smog. We just fired a few rockets and that's it , unlike the past years

they never learn until it hits them really hard. @louievill at least other mylotters around the world will undersrtand why fire works should be banned for personal use.
