I remember a couple of years ago, I want a new iPad cover and case for my iPad air. The only case in the style that I want is a purple one. Since the price is right and purple is cool with me, I bought it. Then my boyfriend got me a new phone. Since this is a new one, I want to protect it from scratches. We got this protector during the Black Friday sale and it is the last one, and it is purple. I got my boyfriend a MacBook pro for christmas and while searching for a cover, I found a similar cover for my macbook air for the same price and guess what - the last available color is purple. The seller on amazon said she threw in a little gift for me. When the items got here, I saw that she threw in a keyboard cover for the macbook in purple! So now, without even meaning to, all my protective covers and cases for my gadgets are purple. It is not even my favorite color, but I have to admit they all matched perfectly and it's not so bad after all. Isn't it amazing how things fall into place without you even thinking about it? They just happen.

if it's the deep dark shade of violet/purple, i didn't like it, it felt heavy to me. i have always like the lighter shades of violet/purple, but have only started buying personal items in recent years.

It's not dark at all, it is translucent that you can even see the logo of the gadget. It was done nicely that you will think it is expensive. I guess it would be had I paid full price for it, but thank goodness for Black Friday.
