A Rainy Morning

So far it is a very windy and rainy morning. When I looked outside the window earlier, I thought we had skipped Winter and went straight to springtime. I love the look of the green grass on a January 10th day. Not seen very often around here. Usually, it is freezing cold and all white. I prefer green, thank you. How is the weather today at your place? I plan to stay indoor and keep busy. Have a great Sunday!

We were supposed to get 1 to 3 inches of snow overnight but we got nothing. It's howling windy out there right now but no rain or snow.

Our grass is really green too - it looks as if it needs mowing. Daffodils are coming up too, but we've got to get some winter sometime surely?

This is grey, foggy and rainy day, it's only 4 p.m. and outside is dark like night. I am waiting for our niece who comes to have dinner with us and will stay for the night. How can I tell her NO?!

Cloudy, very windy, temps are dropping, we had either very light rain or light flurries on the way to the vet and I expect more later.

We left our home with a lush, new lawn. My son said it is still green. I got caught in a cloudburst twice this morning with my friend on our daily walk. We were smart to wait them out under trees with thick foliage.

We noticed how very green our grass was yesterday, as a result of recent showers. We woke up to fog, then rain then wind and now snow. Its been a little bit of everything. Its just slightly below the freezing mark here now. Be careful, it will eventually come your way I think.

@marlina The snow is sticking here now, the wind is out of the north and very strong. its a few degrees below the freezing mark and the roads look slippery. We don't have anywhere to go today so we will be safe. I hope that it clears up for tomorrow.

We had a very rainy, windy night but today it's just cloudy and nearly 60 degrees F. Tonight the temperatures will plummet and be around 14 degrees tomorrow.

It has been raining all day. I am not complaining because it could be snow. I love tto watch the rain. It's warm in the low 60's.
