Part Time Job Or Full Time

When I resigned from my previous job, I was thinking of just doing a part time job instead of being away from the house for long hours. My reason is to be able to spend more time with my kids. Instead, I was all to still get a new full time job. I can't decline it since it will pay me well and we need that for us to also have an extra amount for something. I am also planning to get a rent to own house so we will have our own home. So I have decided that I can have a full time job for the next two years and that's it. I am going to just save to have our own business and have more time with my kids. I don't want to miss these moments but something has to be done. How about you mylotters, part time or full time job?

My job is a part time job. I know you've heard me rant about it here though. I was working four days a week until just last week. It was four days but with three of them being back to back every single weekend. It was getting to me. I want to be at home more so that I can explore my hobbies and be here for my family.

Weekends is really an important family bonding. It's really hard to make things to work together sometimes.

That's good. I wish I can just stay at home doing part time jobs. But it's either the jobs are not available or the pay won't be enough.

I work full time and I have to work full time - wish I could make things work working part-time but it's just not enough cash-flow. So I tend to work 48-49 hours per week. It's nice, though, and keeps me busy. But I agree, when you have kids and your own business, you certainly NEED the down time. Best of luck with whatever you decide to do!

Sure, sometimes it's the salary that can be a huge problem when doing just the part time job.

One or the other will of course work for different situations. Sometimes it's a luxury to be able to choose between jobs. In some situations we have no choice but to accept whatever opportunity comes our way and we'd just have to make the best of it.

both. but it depends on your full-time job. in my case, my full-time job is so easy and I'm not that stressed much. I do some online-earning ways and i considered it as a part-time job. though i'm still looking for a physical part-time job that i can work on at least 1 day a week.

Having both can be very tiring. It's OK if you don't require too much of your time for something else.
