Day 31 – Be Strong and Courageous 2 Chronicles 32 Some things are easier said than done. It’s easy to say be strong and courageous, but when circumstances come against you, strength and courage seem to flee. It takes everyone coming together for the same cause to stand strong and courageous. Sennacherib, king of Assyria thought to come against Judah and Jerusalem. His taunts and threats against Hezekiah and God were meant to cause fear and trembling in the hearts of the people. However, Hezekiah admonished the people not to listen to him because God was greater than Sennacherib and the gods he said were on his side. With Hezekiah motivating the people to stand and trust God, God defeated Sennacherib’s army and he returned home in disgrace and his children killed him. As Christians we can stand strong and courageous against our enemy, Satan. We do that by coming together with each other in prayer, seeking God’s help and believing that God will keep His promise to never leave us or forsake us. When we go to battle, knowing God goes before us, our war chant should be Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. Satan will be defeated at every turn and he will flee in disgrace. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (KJV) 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (KJV) When we put our faith to action, trusting God, we can all be strong and courageous. Let’s pray: Father, help me be strong and courageous whenever Satan comes against me, standing with other believers knowing You are greater than anything Satan throws at me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen. Copyright © 12 January 2016 by Valerie Jean Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay

Very good Bible study. So glad that we can put our trust in the Lord and know that He is with us every hour of the day.

I am too. Satan is doing his best to derail me, but it isn't going to happen.

The thing about Satan he will take lots of forms and try to trick you. So you have to be careful of his evil ways.
