Exercise while watching a you-tube video

Hello Lotters I've struggled with my warm up exercise every morning which end up having so many muscle pains in lower parts of my body. Because I lack how to make a good warm up myself I decided to check the warm up video I've saved in you-tube. What's supposed to be just three minutes lasted more than twenty minutes because I was imitating 3 different videos. It worked well since it's my first time, but I would just focus on one video the next morning. Wish I could i just jog the moment i wake up, but warm ups are necessary to avoid muscle pains which I experienced last year. Have a nice day

For warm up, you should jog in place for like a count of 100, just to get your body/blood circulating. Then do stretches from head to toe (top to bottom so you remember what parts of the body you stretched). It should feel light - not like a workout - and then ease into your normal exercise routine. That's just my experience as a skater.

@Letranknight2015 HA! Well, I used to skate - I haven't in a long time since having a family! But I do try to keep up some kind of stretch routine. For me, I go to You Tube just to get some of favorite music videos and dance around (pretend I am on the ice - ha ha). Hey, if your feet hurt afterwards, massage them, seriously!

@much2say My time is very much limited as i start my online stuff as early as possible then stops around afternoon. the jog itself is my exercise since that's the fastest way for me to sweat and any time beyond twenty minutes, my feet gets hurt and that's the time i stopped. good for you that you skate, we don't have ice here except in the freezer

Warm ups is the best way to have more flexibility and to prepare your body from your workout. Good way to start the year.

Hello @ridingbet I think that's just too exaggerating for me, right now i think im ok. now, the exercise is not strenous, just some warm ups before jogging but i didn't do any of that this morning.

@Letranknight2015 i don't have any video of that. i just saw it on television. I do push-ups on slant position over the wall. I make several lifts of pail of water. And doing abs crunching while standing (just bending forward). I do all these inside the CR haha.

The human body is like a machine, a car in particular needs to be warmed up in order to work properly
