If you have been reading my posts you`ll remember me talking about a car accident I was in and I am going to the Chiropractor to realign my spine. I am in for around the 18th. visit the past Monday and I ask the younger doctor to check out " the knot" that hurts, he told me that one out of place and it took some manipulation but he got it back in place. Now wanna know something? I think that one has been out of place for many, many years! All the pain that I was used to and did not realize is gone! I have more movement now too. I have to ask myself this though, why did the older doctor not notice this? After all I have been using this doctor and office for over 20 years. His newly hired 35 year old fixed me.

Your older doctor just missed this while the younger doctor was more observant, good for you not hurting now.

@andriaperry Sometimes a doctor just does not notice the signs and doesn't bother. I am glad you finally found a doctor who has diagnosed properly.

I have had it happen that doctor gets so focused on fixing the problem he sees that he does not notice anything else, even a bigger problem.

I reckon. I went in because of my neck and headaches. The the young doctor( he is new) was doing the touch test he told me to tell him if any hurt, that is how that was found.

Well glad the new doctor was able to fix you. I've had back problems for many years but i also have scoliosis so that doesn't help either. I always get knots in my back

I think some doctors get 'used to' the same old complaints and don't bother quite so much any more. Fresh eyes are sometimes a great idea.

That is why most times I get a second opinion before something major too!

Glad the 'youngun' was able to help @andriaperry . Spinal pain is no fun. I can't see a chiro though. Well I did go to one once and he said if he tried any manipulation, I'd be paralyzed.
