Everything is Done - Now I Wait

I had several things on my list that needed taking care of before the end of 2015. I managed to make the necessary calls to get the paperwork needed. And then I ran into some trouble. i.e. Dead computer. So the documents I requested I couldn't print from my printer. I got the necessary documents copied this morning at NeighborWorks, managed to get one printer working and printed off the necessary bank statements and signed and dated the Modification papers for the house this morning. I just put the paperwork in the mail to the Mortgage company. Now the ball is in their court and the decision on whether I keep the house or the foreclosure continues to sheriff's sale is up to them. I'm leaving this decision firmly in God's hands. I've done my part. I also managed to make a call before the end of the year to my primary doctor for the follow-up on my leg. That appointment is tomorrow. Everything I needed to do from last year is DONE . Now I'm ready for any phone call I get from the mortgage company. They last called on December 24th. Now I can tell them it's in the mail. Thanks for reading.

well you can only do what you can do, so stressing isn't helpful. I say this and have had rolling panic attacks tonight, I would turn it off if I could. I can't. I know it's silly, and not helpful...and it doesnt matter.

@just4him it's not always rational, although sometimes I know what triggered it, not that I can use that information necc. to fix it, sometimes the reasons cannot be fixed. I know our finances and my job are triggering these...and I can't fix a thing

I hope you can get those panic attacks under control. I had only one in my life and it was so unexpected I wasn't sure what was going on. All I knew was I was in a panic about something, and that had never happened to me before or since.

@Jessicalynnt I know you've said you're not religious. However, I think this still might help you. Put all your worries on a piece of paper. Then fold it away and don't look at it again. Open it up at the end of the year and you will see how it all worked out. As a Christian I go one step further - I put it all in God's hands and watch Him work it all out. It always does. So I don't worry or stress about anything for more than a few hours. Then it's forgotten and eventually I realize it's no longer a problem.

Either way it goes could be favorable. With the state of this house, losing it might be a blessing. On the other hand, allowing me to stay would also be a blessing. It's in God's hands.

Well I hope it's good news and you can stay in the house for now if not a move might be good too. Good luck and glad you managed to get everything done you needed too.

Me too. I'm bad at procrastinating, and then I got all the info together and couldn't print it off my copier, bummer. I found a way a couple days ago and now it's on it's way and just a matter of time before I get the final verdict.

That believe it or not is not my prayer. My prayer is that it all works out according to God's plan. I've placed this in His hands.

I got a phone call from them today. I told them the papers are in the mail. So it's a waiting game now. I probably won't know for a few weeks.

This house needs a ton of renovation. So if the bank says no, I'm sure God has a better place for me.

It will be good if it does because I really don't want to move. On the other hand, moving might be best.
