For all those who think that Google does nothing with reports of copyright infringement, here is proof that they do take it seriously. I got a response from Google on my complaint that I made just a few days ago. Since the article was already taken down they couldn't find it: Here is the response copied below: "Thanks for reaching out to us. Upon recent review of the following URLs,--- we were unable to locate the content in question: If this matter is still a concern, please reply to this email with detailed information to enable us to locate the content and we will further investigate your request. Regards, The Google Team" I talked about my stolen article here: http://www.mylot.com/post/2879868/stolen-article http://www.mylot.com/post/2881521/stolen-article-removed-success

That is great news for you. I would have been so upset to find out that someone had stolen an article of mine.

@Freelanzer As you should be. People are just so lazy and out for themselves these days.

that's good. i always worry that some of the stuff i wrote on bubblews, then reposted elsewhere, was possibly stolen in between... with bubblews closed, how would they know i wrote it first?

That is a good question. The only thing you can do is report it and lay claim to it.

My husband has complained about his stuff being copied on several occasions - with mixed results.

It is sad when that happens to anyone. You win some you lose some but we need to always try to claim what is rightfully ours.
