A good day precedes a bad day?
Yesterday was a great day from beginning to end. Today was just the opposite. Not the whole day, but right now I don't need another thing to go wrong.
First it was my laptop earlier today, and then it was my car - again.
I just got the car fixed this past Tuesday. It cost me almost everything I have. Now tonight, I take my son to work and he calls me just before the game to tell me I need to bring him something. So I get there and a guy, I happen to know from the nursing home I was in, stopped to tell me my tail lights aren't working. Great! Just what I need
.
Earlier today my older son was monkeying with some switches because there is also a nagging annoying ding as soon as you open the drivers door and shuts off when you close the door. I thought he had done something that caused the tail lights and dashboard lights to go off. It wasn't his fault.
I told him about the car as soon as he got home, and he found a blown fuse. However, this late at night there is nothing close enough that is open to get new fuses. But he found some, no doubt from his own car that's been sitting in my driveway needing a brake job for a couple months now, and tried putting them in only to have them blow right away. So I have an electrical problem, and that won't be cheap either.
I am so tired of all the sudden expenses, and now I don't have the extra funds to get it fixed, so I won't be able to drive at night anymore until I can get it fixed, and this is not a good time of year for my younger son to walk to and from work with it as cold as it is.
They say when it rains, it pours. I could really use some sunshine in my life right now.
Thanks for reading.

I don't have the money to afford a new car. It would be nice, but not possible.

I am so sorry for the issues you are having. I am having troubles with my second laptop and I am running out of options to fix it so I understand your frustration.

@just4him I finally got a new cord at Walmart and that fixed one issue at least.

Problems can crop up real fast. We've faced a different set of problems. It 's very tough to deal with.

Yes they can. I even remember asking the mechanic if everything was fixed when I took the car home last week. He said yes. Now I have a new set of problems with the car.
I hope your problems, though tough, are easy to deal with.

I'm sorry to hear about your car troubles. I hope you can get the funds to get it fixed soon so your son doesn't have to walk to work.

I just had trouble with my car. For I can start this newspaper delivery job I fixed my car for $290.00 :| that was for a control arm and tie rod end. Oh well at least its working now. Got to be safe.
