Chipotle to Close Stores for One Day

Chipotle will close all stores on Feb.8th for a Safety Meeting.
Customers have sued Chipotle and also the US Food and Drug Aministration has served Chiptole a subpoena.
The company says it has lost about $14 to $16 million.
These outbreaks have happened in different parts of the country.
They are hopeful the the Centers or Disease Control will declare that the outbreaks are over.
I have been to a Chipotle but will not go again since it has taken them so long to find out what was happening.
He said Chipotle is planning to lure back customers with a new marketing campaign in February.

Seems like a lot of restaurants are in a bit of strife lately. We don't have that store but here at the moment, McDonalds has been in trouble and KFC and some other one I don't remember.
What exactly is a Chipotle anyway? Is it kind of like a burrito?

@VivaLaDani13 A chipolte is actually a smoked hot chili pepper used especially in Mexican cooking. Chipotle is a Mexican restaurant.

I read about that. I love Chipotle - many people I know do. But after reading about all those outbreaks, I certainly can't risk feeding my family Chipotle - even if it hasn't happened in our state/area (although I don't really know that as fact). I've been making a copycat recipe of their cilantro lime rice - I wills still get my Chipotle taste somehow - ha ha!

@much2say People that I know will no longer go to chipotle for fear of this whatever it is making people sick and you can't blame them. I won't go back there again myself no matter what anyone says. lol you make that recipe then you will have your Chipotle taste.

I have never been to Chipotle and I never will. It's so scary to hear about the outbreaks. I also saw on Facebook, Chipotle is going to over free food one day also.. No thanks!

I have just read about it. It looks like it is a supply/processing problem that has happened in certain areas. Why they are waiting until February when something as important as this should be dealt with immediately. They must already know what this meeting will contain. I can not understand why they are stalling. I am not sure if there are any over here. I probably would not go in one anyway.
