I presume Mom is in AA. I hope so.
A sweet photo of a middle aged woman. She cradles a doll. Then I look again and realize: the grown up woman has the posture of a five year old. She is not self aware in the way I think of a woman being who is in her 40s.
The dear soul is brain damaged. For ever young.
Why? Cause her Mom was not aware of the consequences of drinking alcohol while being pregnant. Fetal Alcohol syndrome all grown up. Or not.
Gave me a case of the Sads. Its time I got up and did something besides staring at that photo.
