Hello Lotters, Some of you may know that I've put plants in my room, because I have no windows here and my exhaust fan is busted for many years. But having plants didn't escape the heat that lead some of my plants to die slow, even the indoor plants didn't really have a chance. Until the electrician came by and fix it. I thank him for dropping by. Although he went there on a different purpose and that's some electrical activity on my brother's house. But since my mom wasn't around I decided to open up about my concern regarding the exhaust fan in my room, when i offered him to check it he didn't hesitate. While he successfully fixed my fan, mom came right on time and asked the kitchen exhaust to be fix as well. Unbelievably he was able to fix it as well. my fan simply needed oil since i've not cleaned it since my college years while the other one was clogged a little bit with kitchen oil vapor. Other facts he mentioned that our exhaust fans were top notch quality and doesn't really require replacement. He saved a lot a lot of damn money from buying a new one. Labor? only cost twelve freaking dollars for two of them (12$) but i added a dollar bonus for his time and gave him some cake and soda snacks too. I'm happy now because one major issue in my room had been solved. but that doesn't mean but I won't get rid of my plants they provide better air inside. I will just use it in the afternoon since it's too hot in my room at those hours.

@Letranknight2015 that is true, especially if you ate too much with different dishes and root crops, the bomb will explode and you have to let the bad air go out.

I have never stayed in a house with exhaust fan! All these are found in office or public toilets and cooking places only. I sure am glad that you have fixed the problem with just a little money.

Well, my room doesn't have windows @scheng1 , they had windows but the whole outside space had been renovated for one of our tenants.

So the electrician solved your problem and yes don't remove the plant, it can provide you extra oxygen. Just make sure you put it outdoor once in a while specially at night so it can breathe and be refreshed.

Oh no @salonga I never put it out at night, I do it every ten to eleven in the morning so that they can still grasp some sun light. and then put it back in my room and repeat the same process the next morning. i never put it outside at night because the mosquitos might sneak inside the plant.
