The Snow is Coming!

They're calling for 10 inches of snow tomorrow, maybe more. To be honest, I'm pretty excited. I love the "danger" of terrible weather. I love how it forces people to slow down and stay home. Of course, I certainly don't wish for anyone to get hurt. I just love for things to calm down a little. People are always rushing around and keeping busy. They need to relax and stay home with their families. My work shift doesn't start until two but I'm hoping the snow will be bad enough by then that my manager will tell me to stay home. I could use a good day of reading. I have a book series I need to finish so I can get to the other piles of books I need to read. lol For anyone out there who will be caught in this storm, please be careful and make good decisions. If you don't have to go out then don't go anywhere. It's not worth it! Also, please keep an eye on your neighbors and the elderly. :-)

We got over 15 inches over here. I've been stuck at my dad's house for days. I'm hoping to get my car unburied today and head back home. I'll have to see how the road looks.

Wow, I didn't think other countries cared about our lousy weather...at least you know if you don't hear from some of us again its because we're buried under snow!

It's headline news over here in the UK. Apparently you might be getting up to 24 inches, depending where you live. That would be more than enough for our country to grind to a halt. The weather in the US often comes to us a week or so later. In this case I hope not as the only benefit I see to lots of snow is it makes my garden look as good as everyone elses. For a change. lol

They are talking some snow showers for us here in Ohio, but I hope it won't be too bad. Be careful and stay warm.

Hope things are still going well over there. I'm in WV and we've got about a foot right now with more to come.

Yeah, we declared an emergency already. It's pretty ugly. I'm staying at my dad's tonight because I can't get to my apartment... :-(

We aren't home in Connecticut so we don't have to hunker down and enjoy the snow but we got so much rain today that wee did have to do the same thing. Stay safe.

We aren't in the worst part of the south so this storm will only give us maybe 3 inches of snow...But having lived up north most of my life I dread what it will be like when those 30 inches of snow hits major cities.

I love the fury and power of big storms too. We haven't had a big storm yet this winter.
