I'm sure you have already heard about this news. I have always had an interest towards space matters and how things work around there, its truly amazing. For me it was an exciting news. The best coincidence was the one who kicked the Pluto out from the Planet's club is the one who found this planet. So he can now substitute pluto with this Planet X, thats what they call it now. Some amazing facts about this planet X includes: 1. It has a mass 10 times greater than earth! 2. It takes a 15000 to 20000 years to completely revolve around the sun for it. That means 1 year there=20000 years here, lol. 3. The distance from the sun towards this planet is 50 times the distance between earth and sun! So lets welcome the 'new' member to our solar system! That's wonderful news. I've been a space buff since I was very little.

Finding this planet x is just the tip of the iceberg. They already found many more planets outside our solar system that are somewhat earth like. The universe is vast and there has to be many more planets out there.

@aju007 I know that. It is amazing the strides science has been making the last decade alone.

Wow, just saw this news yesterday and it was cool. Pluto was considered a dwarf planet too small to be categorized as a plant since it doesn't push anything within its orbit. And also I saw that the planet x's orbit was tremendously strange compared to the orbits of the remaining 8 planets we have on our solar system. It takes like a thousand years to revolve around the sun if im not mistaken. It has an oval orbit and sun isn't in the center of it so there will only be a specific time where it is too close on the sun and most of its time in its orbit it's just too far away from the sun. Kinda weird but they say they can bring us more proof and photos over the next 5 years, let's see what happens! @aju007

Yes it takes between 15000 to 20000 years for it to once revolve around the sun!

I think that I need to go back to school and learn the planets all over again.

Sounds pretty cool. I wonder if there's any more beyond that. You have to wonder about the power of the sun's gravity to hold things that big so far away.
