Now that we have snow and ice- / myLot

So it is official-we have snow and ice, so it must be winter. Imagine our thoughts when we looked out this a.m. Not being fans of winter, ice, snow, we were hoping to escape 'real' winter another year. The photo here was taken today, but it looks like the same snow we saw in 2015! It all looks so pretty....the area is absolutely still. Noon has come and gone-Guessing it is too cold for anything to move at the moment! Is this what you area looks like today?

My area looks like this, taken a moment ago. Otherwise, if we were at our home up north, it would look quite like yours, but with much more snow.

We've had snow for a few months now, but that's typical here. It's unusual for us to still have the grass visible at this time of year. Hopefully you won't get much more snow.

I always say I love snow as long as I don't have to be out in it. But with the blizzard that's supposed to be coming our way, I may have to change that assessment. One or two feet is just too much snow!

Our area has looked like that since the beginning of December which was very late! We haven't accumulated any more since and that is very unusual. Usual would be for us to be getting that 30 cm or so of snow.

we have a beautiful 60 degrees today, loved it. although my kids would love some snow. The little dusting we got was not enough for them, they are wishing for a blizzard now

Haha! That is a late winter! Here in Calgary it is winter since mid-December . . but a very moderate winter so far . . most of the time it is sunny and few flurries! Thank you El Nino!
