Can a blizzard hit twice in the same year at the same place? OK what am I talking about? As you know NY city and New Jersey just got hit by a big snow storm. Is it possible for them to get hit again this year With that kind of snow. That is what my question is.

In my experience as a life-long resident of New England, the truly big blizzards hit about once per decade. There may be really snowy winters, winters where it snows every other day and continues to snow for months, but the big storms don't hit every year.

A few years ago my area was getting snow all most Every day. I have no kids but it was driving the school system nuts
