Recently, most of the myLotters are starting to have their reasons to complaint against a blocker in this site. It is a mind-blowing situation since there is no reason why this cetain person randomly blocks the members. Let me share this experience as an old timer, the act of blocking someone in this site is equal to the “disliker”. Long time before the changes of the platform of myLot, there is “dislike” button in this site. Basically, it had changed its feature that gives opportunity to terrified the community. As I have said a couple of times in some of my comments, I tend to ignore them since we cannot control their minds on pressing such precious button. It is like their eyes are shining with eagerness to capture the attention of myLotters. Luckily, the staff in this site took the chance to terminate the said notorious blocker.

No, I'd have to disagree as the block feature now does waymore than the - button on old mylot did.
When you're blocked it stops interaction on almost all levels whereas the - button just did a bit of damage to the reputation of the user.

@Mike197602 If that's the case, the manner of blocking someone is like disliking someone. Regardless, if the blocking system is so severe, then that's the bad thing after all.

@Shavkat well not really as when we used the - button we could still respond/comment on their discussions and we could still see their responses/comments on our discussions.
Being blocked stops us interacting in any meaningful way with the other person...it's way more severe (in terms of discussions) than using the -button was as a single - wouldn't really do anything on the old site.

@Mike197602 Thanks for the information. That would be more clearer to think about. I hope this blocker will not cross my path. Surely, I will just ignore the fact of know him or her.
