So I went to the doctor at 4pm today. While I was there the doctor had to leave her office two times because she had babies to deliver at the hospital around the corner. She took on my doctors patients because he is on vacation for a week. Poor woman, she's swamped.
Okay so...I am 3 centimeters dilated now. The doctor asked me to please hold off until my doctor gets back this weekend. I told her I would try but there was no guarantee. 
We got some furniture moved to the new house today. There was a set back with the tile work so we are just praying we can still move in this week.

I know that doctor's deserve a vacation but it seems as if he schedules his a little bit off! 
I feel for the other doctor, having to take on all of his patients.
I hope you can still move in this week, hopefully the tile won't set you guys back too much. My day was okay. I got off of work and came home to bed. Just started my "day" so far so good.

@Scribbledadnauseum He picked a busy time of year for babies to go on vacation! I feel bad for her too.
I hope we can move in too-were so ready. I am glad your day is going well so far.

@LovingMyBabies Yes! It's crazy you think he would have picked another time. After all he knows when his patients are due and has an idea of whether or not they may be early or late for goodness sakes!
The weather won't cause you any delays with the house I suppose?

I remember when I was 3 centimeters dilated, I was straightaway pushed into the labor ward for my first child. After a few years only I learned that it's actually not that rushing.
I am really excited for you, as I think he's already on his way crossing the rainbow bridge.

@kaka135 Yeah my oldest daughter I rushed to the hospital too. I knew better the second and third times around. Lol. This time I am waiting until actual labor starts as well because hospitals are not fun at all!

The doctor who delivered me went on vacation and missed delivering my friends who were identical triplets. He was disappointed!
