First Major Electrical Problem!

Philippines
January 28, 2016 3:32am CST
Hello Lotters, While I was mylotting this afternoon when all of a sudden my fan went off, i check the plug and it didn't get loose. Then I realize, not just my outlet but from my mom's room, grandma's room, and living room's outlet were all out. Well, not all of it, some of the outlets still works. I thought it's coming from the fuse box, I decided to use buy and replace all the fuse just to sure. When i turn it on, problem still persist. it's either the fuse box, or worse the connecting lines. I hope the rats up on the ceiling didn't choose to chew on them. We are currently waiting for the electrician who once repaired my exhaust. We've never had this problem before regarding outlet's electrical lines...

check the new fuses again, if the new fuses are busted then there is something shorted in the line or one of the appliances connected, you can do it by either using a multi tester if you know how or a dc bulb and batteries if there is electric continuity. If you have doubts call a professional electrician, also if you have extra budget change to circuit breaker, think it's safer than fuses, Good luck friend.

@louievill the ceiling lights are working here, so it has to be some part in the fuse box. sure hope it's not the line or were going break some walls or visit the ceiling. trouble the budget was pour to my medication and check up, having this problem now, not sure if were going to have anymore.

Hello @LLSummer well, thanks to my former electrician and other carpenters, i get to learn a few from them. but if its changing or fixing electrical wires who are connected to the fuse box, that's something beyond me.

We've had rats chew out our electric wiring before too. We busted those rats out and had our wiring replaced. Hope you get yours under control soon!

I know those rats are big, but these rats aren't bigger than my mug here as i have seen one of them. i guess most of them couldn't get down anymore that they started chewing on wires.@Ladypeace
