So, D, the idiot ex-roommate, has been out of my house since July 6th. In that time we have spoken a few times to her cousin, but not to her. It has been 6 months and 3 weeks, nearly 7 months since she's been gone. And today, some new neighbor of hers called our phone number. I seldom pick up the landline anymore, that's the roomie's job, I answer my cell. This new neighbor asked for D, then, when the roomie told her that D had been evicted thought she was D and was joking. The roomie proceeded to tell the woman that D was a lying, two-faced b*tch and that she'd better look out in case D did to her what she did to us. After I learned the details, I decided that I needed to call D, I still had her cell phone number, and give her a talking to. D admitted that she had accidentally given out our number to this lady. I reminded her that she hadn't lived here in almost 7 months, and, by-the-way, at least one of her doctors were still calling here for her. And then I told her she needed to contact Social Security and get her addressed changed there too because the USPS couldn't forward their mail and if she lost her SSDI and her Medicaid she would be in even deeper trouble. She honestly couldn't survive without those things. What did I hear from her? "Oh, yeah, you're right."

Hopefully she will change her address and tell people her new phone number.

She should've done it months ago. And she just told this person the number recently!

Oh I am so glad my sister is not that way. Not really. She has handled all of her stuff. Maybe some of it was slow, but she is done. I feel for you with D.

Your sister wasn't anything like D. Yeah, she was probably a pain to live with, but she wasn't a lying, manipulative, fight starting, stress making pain in the a$$ like D.

That is crazy. Really crazy. I have had my share of roommates that were crazy. I am glad I am not living with them any more.

I can't afford to live alone, but I also couldn't afford to live with that person anymore!

I feel for you when you didn't have to tell her a thing.

We hadn't been, although we had called her cousin about getting her to contact SSI. She's an idiot.
