Getting Better MyLot Ads: Experimental Results.

A few days ago I wrote about getting better ads on MyLot. I found that by visiting Amazon and eBay, I'd get more "targeted" ads about stereo speakers, turntables, and guitars, and fewer ads about Hot Asian Babes who want to marry me and new ear hair removal products that are taking Walmart by storm. Here's what I've found so far: The Amazon ads seemed to come up more quickly after I visited Amazon. But eBay worked too. I don't have to visit Amazon and eBay every day. It's been about three days now, and I'm still seeing more turntables and guitars, and fewer Hotties and miracle products. But I can't eliminate the vulgar "We Recommend" ads near the bottom of the page. Oh well. I think I'll "refresh" my enjoyable ads by visiting eBay now and checking on a couple of guitars and vintage turntables. Have you done the same? Or do you just live with the silly ads? The picture is of an AR turntable being tested in my system. I restored it and then started searching their value on eBay. That's when I really noticed the "targeted ads" and got into "experimental mode."
