Sunday is a holiday, and it is the last day of January. But it is the busiest day in the week. Holy mass, gatherings, Outings, time flies. Majority of the Wedding receptions are in Sundays.

Yes it is the busiest day for many, although there are those who opt to just rest on this day. As for me, Sunday is the day of the Lord so I worship on this day and don't schedule any other activities apart from this.

@shshiju Outings are done on Saturdays and holidays only, no Sunday outings ever not unless they are church related activities.

Sundays our usually my lazy day up until I have to go bowling Sunday evenings. I use this day to rest up for a busy work week to begin Monday mornings.

Sunday is a busy days. In my native country (Italy) weddings are never celebrated on Sundays, this is because on Sundays Priests already have to celebrate the Sunday Mass.

@shshiju The Priest cannot celebrate a "private" Mass on Sunday. There is a limit of number of Mass they can celebrate during a day. The brides prefer to have a private Mass, so they never choose a Sunday, but a day during the week when the Priest can celebrate a private Mass.

That's a nice custom. But I think the Holy mass takes 2 or 3 hours. What they do rest of the time and which day they prefer for wedding.?
