On Saturday, my sister's oldest grandson was married in another province. It was so nice to go online and watch the wedding, since I could not be there. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so glad that the church aired the ceremony. There are so many benefits from having the Internet. On Saturday night, I also watched a live concert from Florida, featuring a Southern Gospel Quartet that I like. So nice to sit in the comfort of our own home, and enjoy something that is taking place miles away. Do you watch live streaming of things like this?

When my favourite Gospel groups are at different churches, I check to see if there is to be live streaming.

@AnneEJ I agree, if it happens that my computer has a problem I feel lost without Internet.

I have never done those things yet. It is indeed a valuable asset for those who cannot be physically present on said events due to reasons like distance, the capability of each person, old age and others.

Hi, I sure do. When I can't attend church, I often stream the service online.

Yes, I enjoyed it from the comfort of my home. I wasn't invited to the wedding, but would not have gone that distance this time of year.

I use an HDMI cord and hook my computer to my video screen which is much larger, and I can sit on my couch or in my easy chair and watch.

Our nephew got married in England in September. Four uncles and their wives were there from Australia. The one who couldn't attend was able to watch it live thanks to a webcam or something which relayed the service to them. Another brother-in-law has a daughter and four grandchildren in Egypt. They talk regularly on Skype which again is great for them.
