Writers Can Always Multitask

It is indeed a blessing to have passion for writing. We can create stories out of what we see or feel while we are busy doing other things. People do not know that while we are walking we are "concocting" a story or a blog. When you meet a certain person along the way like a neighbor or a friend, a good topic pops in your head. When you are in a mall, while biking, while on your treadmill looking at the clouds or the birds, you can compose a beautiful blog. But many of us have that mistake of not noting it down, and when we sit in front our computers, we could not recall that nice topic.

It's handy to have a little notebook in your pocket so you can write things down before you forget.

@acelawrites I forget about being able to make notes on a phone as I don't have a mobile phone but it's a good idea too.

I do get writing ideas from the outside world but I seldom take note.

Same here. There are so many ideas that come to mind, but when you are in front of the computer to write it, you could not recall it.Thanks for your response, @salonga .

I am thankful of my smartphone . The moment an idea comes into my mind , i jot it down . The moment i am already in front of my computer , i expound on it .

It does happen a lot - I forget a lot of my ideas if I don't jot them down.

I can't really multitask as a writer because for me writing requires concentration. Plus, distractions may make me lose that great idea. I'm a single-tasker, and proud of it!

That's so true; I often have a good idea for something that occurs before I fall asleep at night. I don't feel like turning the light back on and writing it down, so I try to remember. I'm sure you can guess how well that works!!!
