His Brain Is Like A Stone: Can You Help Me?

In every family members have their own world. They do things that the family will appreciate even small things. There are some cases that a family has some shortcomings in raring a child. I don’t want to say it but my youngest teenage brother is really a certified black sheep in the family. He has so many habitual behaviors that we can’t really comprehend such as escaping his room at the middle of night, never flip pages of his books, addicted to computer games and the like. All the options and suggestions were carried by the family. I even talked to him a couple of times and it is also a heart-to-heart talk. Still he is really not listening as if his brain is so frozen like a typical stone that you can find outdoors. In some point, I was thinking that teenagers are really so different nowadays. They have their own rules and the brainwaves are totally different from the old school’s behavior. How can I help him to change a better person? Do you have any effective suggestions?

Maybe it is best that you take away the computer from his room or where he can easily access it . My nephew was kicked out in College before , because he doesn't attend his classes anymore because him and two of his classmates were in an internet cafe playing DOTA .

Sanctions and sequestration is the best solution, it could even tame "rogue states" so it would do the same to him.

@louievill It really needs the course of action like this. If not, things will be out-of-control. Hopefully, he will change for the better.

Those teenager boys are so different. most of them are so addicted to playing computer game or doing something we think unmeaningful. but actually they indeed do it and one one can take them away from the track.In my view I think the main reason they don't want to put their heart into studying is they now have no financial burden. they just do what them want. if you want to let him study hard just let him know he must be facing those financial probles along. no one can help him. my friend.
