Some People Wait for a Response

Sometimes people want to see what others will say. Some may use bait comments. You know, those comments where their looking for a reaction, not every comment or opinion deserves a response. The comments that definitely don't deserve a response are those cynical comments. Those comments are set up for battle. The person wants to see if they will receive some back and fourth action. A lot of writers have claimed that they received cynical comments and they suggest ignoring them.

You can ignore whatever you want.
Personally I won't ignore anything nasty directed to me.
It's been insinuated in one response that I'm a racist, I could ignore it but there's no way that's going to happen
They've either misread what I've written or they're a ******* idiot
some responses/comments maybe should be ignored but when they're really VERY wrong I don't think it's a good idea to ignore them.

Let those responses roll off and not read too much into them.

Cynical comments can be a challenge but sometimes underneath the obvious comment a person might just be looking for clarification. I try not to overthink comments.
