The Waiting Game

Some of you might remember that my home is in foreclosure, something that happened because I was fired from my job and I couldn't find employment no matter how much I looked, and I did. Every day. That was back in 2013.
I filed for a modification last year and was denied because I had no income. They did say however, I could reapply. So I requested the paperwork, but I procrastinated about it as I wavered between letting this place go or keeping it. I finally filled out the paperwork and sent it in, just to get a phone call from them telling me I didn't send them everything, and pages were missing. Result - post entitled I Need a Drink. By the way I did send them all the required pages. They lost them, as I told them when they called yesterday. I told them when they woke me up with that call - that I hadn't received the new packet yet. I got it in the mail yesterday.
This morning I filled it out, no waiting this time, and put it back in the mail this morning. Stapled, twice. I stapled the two page bank statement together and then stapled that to the rest of the papers. All of them, sealed them in the envelope and put it back on the mailbox.
Now I wait again and this time they better not lose any of the pages. You'll see steam coming from that resulting post.
As much as this house needs a ton of work, I also don't want to move. So now I wait and see what the ultimate verdict will be.
Thanks for reading.

@LadyDuck They didn't lose them all, just a couple of them, but it still made the packet incomplete, so I filled out the whole thing and sent them back every page in the packet that wasn't informational, but required a signature on it. So they will have duplicates. Hopefully everything will go right this time.

stuff like that is often super irritating, I swear they do everything in their power to get you to give up, and don't help at all.

@just4him his recruiters did it again, so he is off to reget the same stuff, with the use of a tape instead of calipers which is proven inaccurate, and some other stuff.... he did come up with a preasvab of 92 so I really hope those scores encourage them care more

I had some tax papers I mailed, because I had no transportation for at least four days and the paperwork was due in a week. The parcel needed to travel 20 miles.
It was three weeks to the day after I had posted them that they demanded to know why I had not submitted these paper. I explained that I had paid $7. In postage for overnight delivery. Then I had directly handed the envelope to the clerk at the post office.
Two days later, 23 days after it was posted it arrived. I could have crawled, on my belly, using only my elbows to propel me forward, and delivered it more quickly than the post office.

@just4him no penalty. I could prove when I mailed them (I knew there was a reason for saving the receipt!)

Thank you. I'm putting it in God's hands, but I really don't want to move, despite it could probably be the best option. We'll see what happens.
