Separate clubs, pubs, parties have its own dress code. Majority of the office and institutes prefer formal shirt and pant as dress code for it's staff. But I prefer our traditional dress once in a week.

Having a uniform is often cheaper for employees. Our schools often have a 'free-dress day' where they can wear virtually whatever they like. They pay a small sum which goes to charity.

@JudyEv In typical govt job it is necessary like police, fire force . But I don't like uniform in office. Free to wear and Free to fly.

@shshiju If the office isn't too big and everyone is happy with the styles chosen then I think it is a good thing. Banks here usually have a uniform but there might be a choice of a few different styles.

When I was still working in the company, we don't need to wear uniforms. But it should be in casual wear.

Where I live we can wear anything we like except if we work as some places have their dress codes. But we don“t have a beautiful tradicional dress as you have.

Our school has a dress code for students and one for staff. I think our student dress code should be more strict as I grow weary of seeing kids show up looking like they just rummaged in a dumpster for something to wear. The excuse is the parents are poor, but the kid has a cell phone and a $200 pair of sneakers. I say buy him a $50 pair of sneakers and some decent clothes.
