The emergence of social media has changed how business and information transmission are done. Communication is better and faster. Knowledge is passed on from point A to point B at lightning speed. Tons of information are added on the internet that sometimes it is already overwhelming you do not know what to do next. Big corporations and business starters used the social media to sell their products and services the best way they can. The problem here is sometimes the legitimacy of their products are sometimes in question. Some consumers do not do research regarding the product they are buying online and would just find out that it is just a hoax when these fakers got their money from the poor buyer. All of us should be cautious and make sure that a little research is done in order not to waste your hard earned money. Make use of the advancement of the internet to your advantage and not the culprits.

best way to combat it is research, my method is to type -------(product) scam? or type -----(product) review. I think doing this will give you all the information especially of people who have tried a certain product and what they have to say. If buying a real product, check feed backs and date they joined a certain site such as our local olx or ebay.

@louievill Thank you for the tip. I will search for the product prior to buying it.
