Read and seen lot’s of all sorts of Valentine’s day posts on social media networks from sweet nothing to outlandish date and wedding proposal. From teenagers, partners, and even, singles, everyone is entitled and not just limited from intimate lovers. All of us have the opportunity to celebrate love on that special day but I have bumped an article that a day after the happy hearts, February 15 and the succeeding dates are exclusive and time for those mistresses and manstresses or whatever we call them to celebrate from other partner’s partner. Quite funny to think about it, but yeah it happens and it happens all the time…all year round.

For us Filipinos, Valentines day is a very special day. We celebrated this day with our families, visit our loved ones and spend most of the time to our partner in life.

@richjohn07 It is the typical for Filipinos to celebrate this special day. It varies from one Filipino to another in terms of how they celebrate Valentine's Day.

@Shavkat But most likely they celebrate it with their partners. As we have seen that there are many couples walking on the streets, those who are eating in the restaurans and even in the movie theaters. That is why I hate to go out during valentines day because it will only make me envy.

Valentine's Day was never celebrated when we were young so we haven't ever done anything special on this day. To me, it is just another way that businesses try to get us to spend lots of money. I would rather have someone who is considerate every day than someone who lavishes me with gifts once a year. But I don't mind others celebrating :)

@JudyEv I agree on that. It is a business opportunity. It would be nice to have dinner at home with a very special menu with candles on the table.

@Shavkat We might do that but that's about the limit. We absolutely refuse to spend money on gifts neither of us need.
