Something To Consider

I heard this recently and thought it would be something about which to write. Not sure where I heard it.
“A successful marriage isn’t about FINDING the right person; it’s about BEING the right person.”
That makes sense to me. I wrote another post about being lovable. If you want someone to love you, you have to be lovable and kind and honest. No one wants to be around someone who is rude or speaks sharply when spoken to or someone who is quick to take offense.
I can think of one person right away that never has a kind word for anyone. She speaks unkindly to anyone who she thinks is inferior to her. She “barks” at people. I’ve heard her many time say unkind things, even to her husband.
It’s like she is unhappy with herself and her life, so she doesn’t want anyone else to be happy either. That makes NO sense to me.
Do you know someone like that?

I know someone who tends to bark at anyone as if wanting to be on top of everything. Sigh..

Most people know SOMEONE like that, unfortunately. Hopefully, we don't have to be around a person like that very often.

Yes, I agree with you 100%. I think she is a very unhappy person.

I have known a few very grumpy people from time to time. I don't think they are the least bit happy.
