Low Salary = Low Performance

I was thinking at this point of time. If you have low salary, “Is it equivalent to low performance. My friend keeps on complaining about his job and the reason, low salary. His company calls his attention for not performing well, thus he was asked to improve it for this year. As expected, my friend was so furious about it. He claims that the compensation is not appropriate for having good performance. As a friend, I just listen as expresses his inner sentiments. It sounds like a calculation for having a job, right? For me, there is no perfect performance evaluation, since it is plainly subjective.

Even if the pay is low, he needs to perform to keep it at least. If he's no longer happy with it, he should just look for another one to be inspired again

It is but fair to give your best in anything and everything that you do. If one is not satisfied with the pay, his/her work/performance should not suffer. Instead, he/she should look for a better job in case there is no hope for the pay of the current job to improve.

@nottoooldtowrite I think you have a point here. He or she can do his best at work. It is like she or he is cheating herself or himself. The best thing is to find another job.

When workers have no say in the matter of equating salary to performance, it is best that one just works and hopes for the best.

@allknowing I do think that he needs to review his contract. It is the downside of his attitude right now.

I think that's a wrong attitude, as a Christian I was taught to always do my best cause you do your work for God and not man. " Do your best and God will do the rest" . Bosses see how workers work, they know what workers are up to or talking about, bosses see whom to give an increase. I'm a little boss too so I won't hesitate to fire if I see such kind of attitude.
There are many benefits and blessings if you do your best and try to learn while working and not murmur on your salary. People who do their best often times are more successful, land on better jobs, or are more fulfilled in their field of interest or hobby than the complainers.
That's also the reason why I do my best here at Mylot even if we only earn in cents
, if this is where we are then we have to do our best here and not complain about earnings LOL

@louievill I think he really needs to think it over. If he is really not satisfied of his job, then he needs to find another job. As for me, I do all my best in everything.
