I had noticed that some companies don’t provide appropriate benefits for the employees such as medical insurance. As far as my concern, the employees are entitled to have this. Since one of the basic needs for the worker is to secure their health. If not, then how are they going to compensate their medical care? In my points of view, the company is so abusive. They don’t render social responsibility to the people who patronage their company. Social responsibility is the major requirements for them to stay long in the industry. It seems so unfair, is it just plainly business?

@Missmwngi That's the sad thing for some. They just blind themselves for having the benefits and work just to have the salary to survive.

I know so many people whose insurance co pays are like 6000 dollars before the insurance pays anything which is rediculous because most people are working are barely above minimum wage and in this economy it is difficult to even go to see a doctor at their prices.

I agree with this. Companies should invest on the right things, among them are its employees that do the work to bring in the money. Besides healthcare benefits, companies and their management should also look into creating a career map for its employees and help them develop their skills.

@moonchild117 I am sure you are also exposed to this kind of situation. Some companies are not into this. I do hope they will realize that their employees are the living blood of the company.

@Shavkat Not just exposed. I'm in this kind of situation.
Although we are given healthcare benefits that can be extended to our dependents, what I'm sad about our company is that they don't create a career map for the employees' development. If you're not close to the decision makers here, there's a likelihood that your level and salary won't go up.

@moonchild117 It is a typical company's old management system then called nepotism. That's the reason why I left my former company since they promoted people who are not competent to do a particular job position. I have my own personal principles and decided to resign from that company.
