Kids nowadays grow up so fast. They also seemed to think that at some point while on their after school or summer jobs, that they already know better than their parents and they do not need their “meddlesome” ways because they earn their own money now. I still remember that I and my siblings will receive a very severe punishment if we even attempt to talk back to our parents. All it takes from them is one stink eye, “the look” as we fondly call them, and we will be little angels – all the screaming and fighting will halt. I cannot believe how times have changed that kids today can’t wait to be grown-ups. I learned that my former classmate’s 14-year-old sister is 4 months pregnant; she has a boyfriend of the same age. I cannot believe it. I still remember her during our college days. We were already on our second year when she was born. Her parents thought that they can never get pregnant again but her little sister came; a very healthy and happy baby girl. She was spoiled a bit I guess, being the only kid in the family of adults. After graduating, all our communications happen over Facebook and I have very little news of the little sister. Apparently, she met some girls in school who were a bit troubled. I guess it didn’t take long for her to pick on the bad habits. And long story short, this baby is going to have a baby in a few months. So sad. She’s too young! She’s barely started her period (my apologies for the graphic description), I feel for her and her baby. As expected, the baby daddy is not in the picture. Looks like as soon as word got out, his family packed everything up and moved somewhere they do not know.

That's so sad. And baby daddy is unnerving. They did do what they with consent and why is running away from responsibility. Some teenagers dont know what responsibility means. And how really bad her influences are.

I also blame the baby daddy's parents for not teaching him any sense of responsibility and actually helping him run away from it.

So sad to think, she is only 14 years old and she's pregnant. I know, she doesn't even know on how to take care of the baby and everything as a mother, she's too young to take responsibilities. I hope her family can accept this incident.
